    About Starlite Engineering Incorporated
    Starlite Engineering is a Hardtech/ Cleantech startup, focusing on repowering heavy industry with new, fuel cell-based technologies. We are utilizing the inherent system efficiency of fuel cells, and negating the downsides of hydrogen through our reformer system, to deliver a cleaner, safer, more cost efficient solution to our customers. As we build our MVP and acquire early customers, we are looking for a Founding Chemical Engineer to join us in shaping the future of energy, and excellence in the workplace.

    Responsibilities
    - Design, build and iterate on the individual components of the “power unit”, including hydrocarbon reformer, fuel cell stack, and energy recycling systems.
    - Work with Mechanical Engineers on design and manufacturability of energy solutions.
    - Transition into Chief Technology Officer as Starlite gears up for full-scale manufacturing and delivery of energy solutions, and lead the R&D and engineering teams.
    - Drive innovation in fuel cell systems and sub systems.
    - Work closely with the founder to iterate on product development based on customer feedback.
    - Maintain best practices for scalability, safety, and performance.

    Skills & Qualifications
    - 2-5 years of experience in chemical engineering (or degree in chemical engineering).
    - 2-5 years of experience in fuel cell systems (preferred, but not required).
    - 2-5 Years AutoCad or similar experience (preferred, but not required)
    - Project management and team leading (preferred, but not required).
    - Familiarity with hardware engineering/ manufacturing (preferred, but not required).
    - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup environment. (required)
    - A never ending desire to learn and grow (required).

    - Option to Transition into Chief Manufacturing Officer as Starlite gears up for full-scale manufacturing and delivery of energy solutions, and lead the manufacturing and supply chain teams.
    - Drive innovation in fuel cell systems manufacturing.
    - Develop highly efficient manufacturing solutions, and work with Process Improvement Specialists (in-time) to further hone manufacturing efficiency, and reduce manufacturing waste.
    - Work closely with the founder to iterate on product development based on customer feedback.
    - Maintain best practices for scalability, safety, efficiency and workforce.

    Skills & Qualifications
    - 2-5 years of experience in Mechanical engineering (or degree in chemical engineering).
    - 2-5 years of experience in fuel cell systems (preferred, but not required).
    - 2-5 years experience with CAD and computer aided system design (required).
    - Project management and team leading (highly preferred, but not required).
    - Familiarity with hardware engineering/ manufacturing (preferred, but not required).
    - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup environment. (required)
